Privacy Policy
This policy explains how AmpLet Charging, operated by Colli Ventures LTD, collects and uses personal information when venue operators, website visitors or prospective partners contact us or register interest.
Information we collect
Name, venue name, email address, phone number, location and the content of any message you send us, whether by email or via the enquiry form on this site. When you submit the form, its contents are delivered to our inbox as an email through our email delivery provider (see Sharing below); ordinary enquiries are not stored on this website. Partnership applications are also saved securely with Cloudflare and recorded in HubSpot, our CRM, so we can review them and retry delivery if a service is temporarily unavailable. We collect the pub details and questionnaire answers you submit, the application date and reference, and campaign identifiers from the link you used.
How we use it
When you send an enquiry through our homepage, we include a broad indication of how you reached that page, such as a search engine or another website, and whether a campaign marker was present. This helps us understand which channels bring enquiries. These hints may be unavailable or incomplete. We do not include the referring page's address, search terms or campaign values in these hints. This measurement uses no cookies or browser storage and is delivered with your enquiry through our existing email provider.
For the partnership form, we also count form starts and successfully saved applications to understand completion rates by campaign. Your browser holds a random identifier only for the current page visit, without analytics cookies or persistent browser storage. Unfinished answers are not included in these measurements. The measurement records are kept with Cloudflare and reviewed for deletion after 12 months.
We use your enquiry details to respond, assess venue suitability, arrange deliveries, maintain business records and manage our relationship with your venue. We rely on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and our legitimate interests in handling business enquiries. Optional advertising measurement relies on your consent.
Advertising measurement and cookie choices
If you accept optional cookies, we load a Google Ads tag to understand which ads lead to venue enquiries. An enquiry is counted only after our website confirms that the homepage form was sent. The conversion event does not include your name, email address, phone number or message. Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, page address, browser details and advertising click identifiers. Analytics storage, enhanced conversions using form details, and personalised advertising are disabled for this tag.
Google's advertising measurement cookies, whose names start with _gcl_, normally last for 90 days. Google may also use browser local storage named _gcl_ls to retain advertising click information. Google manages the expiry of this measurement data. See Google's cookie information and how Google handles information from partner sites for details, including Google's own cookie settings.
We remember your choice, the date and the version of this notice in your browser's local storage under amplet-google-ads-consent. We honour it for 180 days before asking again. This preference storage is necessary to remember your choice and is not used for advertising. If your browser blocks storage, your choice applies for the current page only.
You can accept or reject equally easily, and change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting before acceptance prevents the Google tag from loading. Withdrawing after acceptance tells an already loaded Google tag that consent is denied, stops our conversion events and removes Google's measurement cookies and local storage that this site can access. Google may receive a consent-status signal on withdrawal; the tag will not load on subsequent pages while your rejection applies. We cannot delete cookies belonging to Google's own domains; these can be managed in your browser or Google settings. Your enquiry still works whichever choice you make.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Enquiry form submissions are delivered to us by Resend, an email delivery service acting as our processor. To protect the form from abuse, submissions are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical information such as your IP address. For partnership applications, Cloudflare provides hosting and application storage, HubSpot holds the application and contact records, and Resend sends application notifications and receipt confirmations. We do not automatically share your personal application details with Save British Pubs or enrol you in unrelated marketing. We may also use other trusted service providers for email, hosting, CRM and accounting support, under appropriate safeguards.
Chat assistant
The chat widget on our homepage is answered by an AI model. Messages you type into the chat are sent to Anthropic, our AI provider acting as our processor, to generate each reply, and are handled under Anthropic's commercial data terms — they are not used to train AI models. Conversations are not stored on this website: the running conversation is kept only in your browser and disappears when you leave the page. Please don't include sensitive personal information in the chat — for anything personal, use the enquiry form, email or phone instead. To protect the chat from abuse, the start of each chat session is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical information such as your IP address.
Retention
We keep enquiry and application data only as long as needed to assess and manage the relationship, unless legal or accounting obligations require longer. We review unsuccessful or inactive applications after 12 months for deletion. Application delivery records are access-restricted. You can contact us to request deletion.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email info@amplet.co.uk.
